Duncan & Miller Sandwich Glass Shaker Set with Metal Tray #41 Clear Depression

Duncan & Miller's Early American Sandwich glass pattern was produced between 1924 to 1955. This salt & pepper shaker set is from that line. They measure approximately 2 7/8 inches tall and 1 1/2 inches in diameter at the base. They include metal lids and are presented on a silver tone metal tray that is marked "Japan" on the bottom. The shakers are made of clear glass with the beautiful flower and scroll design with stippling that exemplifies the sandwich pattern. These footed bowls would have been used to eat stewed fruits at one time, but now would make an excellent server for dips and snacks. The glass is in excellent condition with air bubbles and minor imperfections, as is typical for depression glass. One of the lids has some corrosion on the interior that isn't visible at all when displayed. There's an imperfection on the edge of the tray that is original to the piece. Please examine all photos.
